Member donations provide vital funds that support everything from educational programming to the purchase of trees, shrubs, plants, water features and hardware such as benches and bridges. Donors are members of the Arboretum and receive benefits from the Arboretum sponsors.  Consider joining our community of supporters!

Membership Levels And Benefits:

All members receive regular newsletters, access to our website and informational sources and special benefits from our local sponsors.   

• $30 - Annual Individual Membership

• $250 – Lifetime Membership

• $500 -Supporting Sponsor – Recognition on our website and Facebook, as well as newsletters. Invitations to monthly educational events, appreciation evenings and a complimentary lifetime membership..

• $1,000 to $5,000 Benefactor – Donor receives all of the supporting sponsor benefits and is entitled to one complimentary Lifetime Membership ($250 value) for a friend or family member.

Gift Memberships

Know a friend or family member who enjoys The Webster Arboretum.  Give them the gift of membership to the Arboretum and share with them the beautiful landscapes, programs and sponsor benefits. A gift membership provides the recipient with membership benefits for one year. We will send a gift acknowledgement to you and a notification of the membership to the person(s) you designate.

All Donations will Go Directly Towards:

• Increasing our year-round programming to inspire and educate visitors about the science of horticulture, water and land stewardship, and the cultivation of native plants.

• Further outreach and environmental education aimed at engaging local youth and community members.

• The continued planting, care and showcasing of beautiful trees, shrubs, grasses and wildflowers.

• Upkeep of paths, ponds and bridges.

 

Donations can be made on a one-time only or on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis. Recurring donations are both convenient for the donor and provide consistent support of our mission. Commemorative gifts are a meaningful way to celebrate special occasions including birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries or to honor and remember a family member or friend. The Webster Arboretum accepts contributions in any amount in honor of an individual or organization. Acknowledgement letters are sent to the donor and to the gift recipient or their family. All gift amounts are confidential.

Providing a bequest to The Webster Arboretum is a meaningful way to ensure that our horticultural and educational mission will continue to grow and thrive.  It also demonstrates your confidence in our capacity to carry out this mission over the long term.

 

Tax Exempt Status

The Webster Arboretum is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public charity formed under the laws of the State of New York.  Further, the Arboretum is qualified as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service, making contributions to the Arboretum tax deductible as permitted by law. The Arboretum prepares an Annual Report which is submitted for approval to its Board of Directors, a copy of which can be obtained upon written request.
