Check Out What We Have to Offer
The Webster Arboretum is considered a hidden treasure in the town of Webster NY. Meander along 1½ miles of walking trails through pristine gardens, groves and wooded areas where you will find native and unique specimen trees and plantings. Wander through the conifer garden which is augmented with boulders and a ‘river of stone’. Near the entrance to the arboretum, you will find our herb garden designed in the shape of a flower with six pods with designated themes. Keep walking and you will view a circular unique bulb garden and native fruit tree varieties.
The Arboretum also features vast collections of unique perennials, dahlias and daylilies. Sit for a while on one of our many benches and view our fountained pond which provides a natural habitat for native waterside flora and animal life. On the east side, you will find creek beds with waterfalls and beautiful bridges. Take a moment to observe the numerous native bird species thriving throughout the arboretum. Bring a picnic lunch and take advantage of the numerous outdoor tables located near the Curry Building. In winter, the arboretum is an ideal location for cross-country skiing and snow shoeing. Dogs (on leash) are welcomed here.

The Webster Arboretum is a Planned Community Park.
The goal of this park is to bring together the unique talents of our community members to develop and maintain this special setting in which to explore and learn about nature. The Webster Arboretum Advisory Committee will offer the total community the opportunity to experience educational, conversational and recreational opportunities by having programs for all ages here.

In 2000 an endowment fund for assuring the future of the Arboretum was created with the Rochester Area community Foundation. the ongoing success of the Webster Arboretum requires the participation and generosity of the Webster Community.
